A bit of Hubris

You know, I sometimes wonder just how much competition is actually out there. We fear that we are never good enough to get what we want, and the competition is too fierce, but I have not found that to be the case so far. Maybe its my own hubris at work, but I just dont see it. We don't need competition to survive, but I definitely think we need it to thrive. Maybe its just that I've always turned out to be the big fish in the little pond. Hmmm. In due time, I guess I'll be moving to the bigger pond. So here is a motto I have learned to live by and it has made all the difference. More Challenge=More Fun.

Hubris is correct! No one ever sees their own Hubris. Otherwise more people would prevent the downfall that "excessive pride" causes. Just be careful, transferring from a "small pond" to a large one is a culture shock...

Be careful with all of this pond shuffling! You may end up a not so big fish in the ocean, or worse yet -- any kind of fish on ice at the local seafood place!
