What is holding you back?

We are a society of dreamers yet to realize our dreams. We dabble and pretend, but we don't acheive. We are unhappy complainers of our lives, and yet we do nothing to remedy the situation. Or we try once, and fail and realize the whole world is against us, or we learn helplessness because everything we attempt will turn into utter failure, and therefore we try not.
We are knocked down and decide not to get up. We are wasted souls, in a wasted world, wasted by our invisible dreams that will not pass into this land. We know not how to take what is given and make it into something worthy of a dream.You can dream anything, except you can't dream a dream into existence. It must be made into existence with blood, tears, toil, and sweat. And where once nothing was something had been made and it is, ...beautiful.
